Massage a Few Minutes from Newmarket
Walk, tram or drive — we're just up the hill from Newmarket Plaza on Eddy Street.
Newmarket has one of the shortest trips of any suburb we serve. From Newmarket Plaza or the Racecourse Road shops, our clinic is barely two kilometres away — close enough to walk on a good day, and five minutes by tram or car. Most of our Newmarket clients pop in on the way home from work or after the shops.
We see a real mix of locals: people working at and around Flemington Racecourse (jockeys, strappers, stable staff — bodies that take a daily beating), shift workers from the food businesses along Racecourse Road, and the wave of younger professionals who've moved into the new builds around Pin Oak Crescent and Newmarket Station over the last few years. Different jobs, different aches, but the same need for an hour where someone actually pays attention to where it's hurting.
eWellbeing has been at Shop 2/8 Eddy Street, Moonee Ponds for years. Our approach blends traditional Chinese acupressure with Western remedial techniques — particularly useful for the kind of deep, repetitive strain that doesn't shift with a stretch or a foam roller.

What Newmarket regulars like about us
Close enough to walk
From the north end of Newmarket, our clinic is genuinely walkable — about 25 minutes along Mt Alexander Road. Many regulars walk in, get a session, and stroll back. Hard to do that with a CBD or Carlton clinic.
Used to working bodies
We see a fair number of clients connected to the racing industry, hospitality and trades — people whose bodies are their job. Our therapists know how to work deeply without bruising you, and how to pace sessions across a busy week.
Honest, no-upsell pricing
What you book is what you pay. We're not the kind of place that sells you a package on the table or pushes add-ons. Same prices for everyone, every day, with HICAPS for on-the-spot health fund claims.
The trip from Newmarket
If you're around Newmarket Station or Pin Oak Crescent, the easiest options are tram or a quick drive. The 57 tram runs up Racecourse Road and continues into Moonee Ponds Junction — a 5-minute ride and then a 2-minute walk to Eddy Street. By car, head north on Racecourse Road, continue onto Mt Alexander Road, and turn left into Eddy Street — usually under 7 minutes outside peak.
If you're already walking around the Racecourse Road shops, you can comfortably walk to us in 20–25 minutes through Ascot Vale. Free two-hour street parking is available right outside the clinic. Book online or call (03) 9317 5656 — we keep a few same-week slots aside for genuine pain cases.

Common questions from Newmarket clients
How long does it take to get to your clinic from Newmarket?
By car, usually under seven minutes outside peak hour — straight up Racecourse Road, then Mt Alexander Road, and a left into Eddy Street. The 57 tram from Racecourse Road to Moonee Ponds Junction is similar, about 5 minutes plus a 2-minute walk. You can also walk it in 20–25 minutes if the weather's good.
Is there parking right at the clinic?
Yes — Eddy Street has free two-hour street parking directly outside the building, and the surrounding streets between Puckle Street and Mt Alexander Road usually have additional spots. We're not in a paid zone, so you can park, have a session, and stop into Puckle Street afterward without worrying about a meter.
I work around the racecourse — do you have early or late slots?
Yes — we're open seven days with both early and evening appointments. If you're working around track work hours or shift patterns at Flemington, just tell us when you book and we'll find a time that fits. We often have flexibility outside the obvious 9-to-5 windows that suit shift workers.
Can I claim through my private health fund?
Yes — our remedial massage sessions are eligible for rebates with most major Australian funds, as long as your extras cover includes remedial massage. We have HICAPS at the clinic so you can claim on the spot and just pay the gap. Bring your physical card or have it on your phone.
