Massage for Airport West

A short drive — or one seat on the 59 tram — from Westfield Airport West to the Chinese acupressure and remedial blend our clients keep coming back for.

Airport West sits about 7 kilometres from our clinic on Eddy Street. Most clients tell us the drive takes 12 to 15 minutes outside peak hour — usually down Matthews Avenue and onto Keilor Road, or straight down Bulla Road onto Mount Alexander Road if you're heading home from DFO Essendon Fields. It's a deliberate trip, not a casual walk-in, and the people who make it generally have a reason.

That reason is usually our particular blend. eWellbeing combines Traditional Chinese acupressure with Western remedial techniques in the one session, which is unusual in the north-west. Aviation and FIFO workers come to us after long shifts for shoulder and lower-back work. Retail staff from Westfield book in for neck and arm tension. Older clients from Airport West's long-established Italian community tend to favour our hot stone massage and reflexology sessions. Focused acupressure starts at $50 for 30 minutes.

Our therapists have been here for years, so most regulars see the same person each visit. We're open seven days, until 7pm on Thursdays and Fridays and through Sunday afternoons, which suits shift workers and parents with weekday school runs.

Why Airport West clients make the trip

We do both styles in one session

Many Airport West clients book a remedial session and ask the therapist to layer in acupressure for stubborn shoulder or sciatic tension. You don't have to choose between Western muscle work and Chinese pressure-point therapy — we trained in both.

Aircrew and FIFO-friendly hours

We're open seven days with later slots on Thursdays and Fridays, which works well for the airport workforce nearby. If you've come off a red-eye or a roster swing, a same-day booking is usually possible — though we ask shift workers to call rather than rely on online slots.

Long-tenure therapists

Several of our therapists have been at the Eddy Street clinic for years. Regulars from Airport West tend to rebook with the same practitioner, so your treatment history carries forward instead of starting fresh every time.

Common questions from Airport West clients

Is it worth driving from Airport West to Moonee Ponds for a massage?

Honestly, that depends on what you're after. There are massage options closer to Westfield Airport West if you just want a quick relaxation session. Clients who make the 12 to 15 minute drive to us are usually after our specific Chinese acupressure plus remedial blend — with focused sessions from $50 — or they've had a long-standing therapist here. If you have chronic tension that hasn't shifted at other clinics, the trip tends to be worth it.

Can I get there without a car?

Yes — the 59 tram starts at Westfield Airport West and runs direct to Moonee Ponds Junction, around 25 minutes with no changes. From the Junction stop it's a few minutes' walk to Shop 2/8 Eddy Street. It's one of the easiest no-car trips in the north-west: one tram, no transfers, and it drops you almost at the door.

I work shifts at the airport — do you have early or late slots?

We're open seven days — until 7pm on Thursdays and Fridays, 6pm most other nights, and from 10am on Sundays. If you've come off an overnight or late roster, give us a call on (03) 9317 5656 rather than relying on the online booking — we can sometimes fit shift workers in around the published times, especially mid-week. Sunday afternoons are popular with aviation crew so book ahead if you want a weekend spot.

What's the easiest way to find the clinic once I arrive?

We're at Shop 2/8 Eddy Street, a couple of minutes' walk north of the Puckle Street shops and a short walk from Moonee Ponds station. We're on the ground floor, and there's free 2-hour parking on Eddy Street right outside. If you've parked around Puckle Street itself, allow a few minutes on foot.
