Massage Close to Maribyrnong

Ten minutes across the river from Highpoint to our Moonee Ponds clinic.

If you've spent the day chasing retail customers around Highpoint, walking the Maribyrnong River Trail with the dog, or wrangling kids between the Aquatic Centre and school pickup, you already know what this part of Melbourne does to a body. The high-rises along Edgewater make for great views, but living up there often comes with the kind of stiff neck and tight upper back that doesn't shift on its own.

eWellbeing sits just over the river in Moonee Ponds — about a ten-minute drive from most of Maribyrnong via Raleigh Road and Maribyrnong Road. We're a small, owner-run clinic at Shop 2/8 Eddy Street, with therapists who trained in both traditional Chinese acupressure and Western remedial massage. That combination matters: instead of choosing between deep tissue work or energy-line treatment, you get both in the same session, blended to what your body's actually doing today.

We see a lot of retail workers, hospitality staff and parents from your end of the river. Most arrive saying "it's been a while" — we're happy to start gently and build up.

What sets us apart for Maribyrnong locals

Quick drive across the river

Raleigh Road across the bridge, up Maribyrnong Road, and you're in Moonee Ponds. About ten minutes outside peak — much faster than driving to a CBD clinic and a lot less stressful than trying to park there.

Built for sore shoulders and necks

We see a lot of retail and admin workers from your area with the classic upper-back-and-neck combo. Our acupressure-meets-remedial approach is genuinely good at unlocking that pattern without feeling brutal.

Quiet, unhurried sessions

We're not a chain — just a small team who actually remember your last session. Most clients book the same therapist each visit, and the room is set up for properly slowing down, not for processing bodies on a conveyor belt.

Your route from Maribyrnong

From most of Maribyrnong — including Edgewater, the Aquatic Centre area, and the streets around Highpoint — the fastest way to us is by car. Head east on Raleigh Road across the bridge, then north on Maribyrnong Road to Moonee Ponds Junction, then a short loop onto Eddy Street. Allow ten minutes outside peak hour, fifteen if you're travelling at 5pm.

By public transport, the 82 tram runs through Maribyrnong toward Moonee Ponds Junction, where it's a two-minute walk to our clinic. Free two-hour street parking is available on Eddy Street. If you'd like us to hold an evening slot, give us a call on (03) 9317 5656 — we keep a few aside each night.

Common questions from Maribyrnong clients

How long does it take to drive from Maribyrnong?

Usually about ten minutes outside peak hour — Raleigh Road across the bridge, then up Maribyrnong Road to the Junction, then a short turn onto Eddy Street. In afternoon peak it can stretch to fifteen or twenty, so if you're coming straight from work around Highpoint, give yourself a buffer.

Is parking easy near the clinic?

Yes — Eddy Street has free two-hour street parking right outside the door, and the side streets between Puckle Street and Mt Alexander Road usually have spots even on busy days. We're not in a paid zone, so you don't need to feed a meter.

Do you do home visits to the Edgewater or Highpoint apartments?

We don't, sorry. We get asked a fair bit, but the equipment, table setup and quiet treatment room genuinely make a difference to the quality of the massage — particularly for the deeper acupressure work. Most clients tell us the short drive over is worth it once they've experienced the room.

I'm on my feet all day at Highpoint — what should I book?

For retail and hospitality workers, we usually recommend starting with a 60-minute session focused on lower back, hips, calves and feet. If you've also got the neck/shoulder pattern from stocking shelves or scanning tills, the acupressure neck-shoulders-arms-and-back add-on is genuinely worth it. Mention your shift hours when you book and we'll match you with a therapist.
